New Gears - report
Yesterday I dropped off my 2013 with 4.56 gears and picked up my new Rubcicon with 4.10 gears. I retained my tires, wheels, bumper and winch, so a pretty direct comparison between the two. The 4.10s will be more than adequate for me. Driveability in town and on the highway seems to be good. However, if I was upgrading from 3.21s or 3.73, I would absolutely choose the 4.56s. Yes, a bit higher RPMs on the highway but work well. My 2 cents worth

Thanks
28 PSI worked the best for me. It tracks much better than when I was running in the 34-35 range.
Everyone's tire pressure will be slightly different depending on the weight of their rig, 2dr vs. 4dr etc. I have a relatively light 4dr and the same tire and after a chalk test I have my pressure at 31psi. Sometimes I bump it up to 35psi for long highway trips a little better gas mileage.
I have an 08 JKU Rubicon and I went with 5.13's and honestly am very happy. I thought I wanted 4.88's but I am glad the shop talked me out of it.
And when you are reading replies, be sure to take not of: The engine. The transmission. 2 or 4 door. Where they live, since there can be different recommendations for flat roads at sea level vs hilly roads at altitude. How they drive, since there can be different recommendations for lots of high speed freeway vs mostly in-town/offroad and rarely going over 60mph. etc, etc... (but for your 3.8 auto, expect a lot of replies saying 5.13's.)
You should find threads on regearing a 3.8, instead of looking for advice in a thread dedicated to a 3.6. Different gearing needs.

I think 4.56 are too much for me with 34s and even 35s as I do 80-85mph daily.
