You may find this thread very helpful. As others have suggested, once DW occurs, it can cause damage to related parts. The longer it goes on, the more extensive the damge, and the greater difficulty actually eliminating it. The checklist in the linked thread will help you track down all of this for repair, rather than fix something that was bad, but that was also not going to stop DW since other parts are now damaged ...

i really appreciate all the help. Hopefully it will just be the TB like most have mentioned. The Jeep does have a 4in lift on it and i did notice the TB is also aftermarket. Although the Jeep itself is in great condition, after doing some research I feel most of the suspension is pretty worn just by a visual inspection. I feel like it has probably be on the Jeep a while. My main concern with doing the work myself is obviously safety....does the Jeep to be on the ground under its own weight or on jack stands when doing any suspension repairs?

Depends on what you're monkey'ing with. I'd say more often than not you're using jacks and jack stands. You will get a lot of use out of a jack, stands, and half-decent torque wrench (preferably 6-ton stands and a 1/2" drive 50-250 ft lbs wrench).

Take some pictures of front axle components from various angles and post em up. We can help identify things. Things to look at are ball joints, if the lower control arm brackets on the axle have cam bolts in em, picture from the front showing the TB and DL together so we can see their angles, etc.

That is your upper control arm bushing. On a '13, that is likely still perfectly fine even though you are seeing a few nicks around the edges.
