Default New HELP with Shrockworks sliders install

I'm trying to install my sliders on 2 dr auto X. Everything seems pretty straight forward except I'm missing some parts. There's not any lock washers no biggey, and no 1/2" stick nuts (with welded tab on them) for the front.

If I don't go off roading or use them as a step do you think that if I install the lower frame bolts both ends and the 2 self taping bolts in the rear they will be ok until I can figure a way out to get the 1/2" nuts in the frame rail?

I start back to work this week and leave early and get home after dark, and I'd really like to get these things on. BTW - They look really sweet with the mid-width Shrockworks bumper I installed yesterday

(NOTE:I bought these from a 3rd party so I'm in no way blaming Shrockworks)

We have a similar setup. I'd say you'll be okay with just the bottom bolts, but like you said don't use it as a step. I'm including a link to my installation pictures to give you a little more to reference:

Well I got it bolted up and seems sturdy enough to be installed, just not used as a slider...yet. I'm going to just purchase some 1/2" bolts and have a heavy guage solid wire welded to them so I can feed them up through frame rail. Thanks for the pics and reply.

Initially I was a little overwhelmed by the directions and the writeup for the installation, but it actually went pretty smooth. Except for the one back hole that I'm about a 1/16th of inch off

Had sort of the same problem mounting my Unlimited rails where I needed a longer stick on the nut than I could locate in the kit.
Go to your company's fab shop or any machine shop and they can weld on a piece of 'TIG' weld rod and you'll be off to the races.
For the miss-drilled hole try a die grinder burr on your right angle drill to line the two holes up.

I work at a community college and my office is right across from the welding shop. Pretty sure I can get the welding instructor to help me out . Thanks for the tip on the die grinder.
