As far as mods go, it just depends on what you want. There are all kinds of mods that are pretty much just for looks. And then there are some for maybe getting a few more MPGs and engine performance. And of course, the mods for better 4x4ing. I myself wanted to get just a couple more mpgs and a little better performance to start with. Glad I did.....Airaid air intake and throttle body riser was just the ticket. Runs better and sounds great!!! Of course that involved a few hundred bucks.
I guess it all really depends on what "inexpensive" means to you, and what you are looking for from your jeep.
Which ever way you go.....Have Fun Doing it...!!!

Congrats on the new jeep! Your best bet is to check out the Show and Tell thread to see what other's have done that might appeal to you and also, as mentioned before, take it wheeling! This will tell give you a greater indication as to what you need.

If you are just wanting to "Jeep" it up with out going overboard, good luck I dont think it is possible

But you can start small and work your way up from there. There are tons of things you can do from grap handles to Hemi conversions. Go to the sponsor websites to see what is available for the JK and look at some of the rigs here http://my.project-jk.com/.

And there are a lot of write-ups here that have been done. Many are very clever https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/

Good luck and welcome to the Forum.

It is a nice color, along with the Res Rock Crysta...could have been worse...you could have gotten the "other" green

I think a lift and larger tires will help the most. Get lockers after that.
