Default new lift install

I am putting a 4" rough country lift with control arms in on saturday with the dual steering stabilizer. I have a 08 jk sahara with 6 speed 2 door. Just want to know if my stock drive shaft will work for a month at least so i can measure and buy the Tom Woods, called them but they need measurements with lift and i dont want to be with out a vehicle after putting in lift. Can someone give me some help on this thanks. I will be running 35x12.5x16 pro comp xtreme allterrian with a 16x8 wheel

A few peeps w/2drs still running theirs after several thousand miles on 4in lifts, you should be ok for a little while.

I would think as long as your not offroading it should be fine for a bit. Anyone else gro this guy out? I don't see a problem with it for a month.

I'm new here and also will be putting a RC 4" on my '10 JK soon. Is the driveshaft necessary even if the Jeep is driven on road for a while? Seems like something the lift companies should be stressing, don't ya think?

Esarg02 let me know if you have any steering issues after your lift. Make sure you get an alignment.

speedboy, I had it aligned last week and it has driven fine, wheel is straight and no issues I put the dual stabilizer on as well as the 4" stage to rough country with 315x75x16 (35x12.5x16) rides and handles good have a little shake at 70mph to 75mph then it goes away still want to replace the rear drive shaft with tom woods but it will be a little bit, not sure if the drive shaft has anything to do with it but dont do much off roding so going to see how long i can make the stock drive shaft work. I also have the spare hanging on the back on stock carrier and seems fine for now now noise but did change out the rubber stops to the new daystar larger ones.

Don't disconnect the front swaybar and it should last a while. Make sure to put the rear swaybar links in the front. I don't know if they added that to the instructions. Have fun lifting your jeep.
