Default New lift total height question.

I have a 2012 JKU I am looking to put a 4" lift on and eventually get 35's for my stock rims. Question is "With a hardtop and these items added what will be my total height"? Concerned about getting it in the garage.

It depends on who makes the coil. Most companies are pretty close to what they advertise. But rock krawler coils give you more then what they say.

That is going to be a hard question to answer exactly because advertised lift and actual lift are typically different. An obvious ball park would be add 4 inches to whatever you are currently at. As far as lift from tires, take 35 inches minus the diameter of your current tire then cut that number in half.

4" of lift is an aweful lot for 35s. You can save a lot of money in parts by going lower. Just sayin

I would agree 4" is high for 35's I have a 1.75 spacer in the front .75 rear and a 1.25 body lift and I clear 35 easy without rubbing offroad. Mine is also a 12

I agree - go with a 2.5 and add .75 spacers if you want a little more lift. I have 315's (34.6") on my JKU and a RC 4" lift that gave me 5.5" of lift over stock and it rides / handles pretty bad. You really have to do adj control arms and adj track bars and probably a front driveshaft at 4" in my opinion - the geometry of everything is just thrown way off at that kind of lift. For what it's worth: mine fits in the garage with no problem - standard sized garage door - probably 4-5" of clearance over the roof (hardtop also).

I was going for the look and I live in New Orleans where flood water is a yearly occurrence. Guess I need to find some local jeep gatherings to see other jeeps. Thanks for your input.

If you Are just going for the look then I would get a leveling kit and a body lift. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than a full suspension lift and still achieve the look you want. It will also maintain your stock ride and feel.

I have a lower than normal garage. I think I have 77" of clearance.

My friend has a 2007 JKU, with a EVO 4" Enforcer Lift, Hankook 35x12.5x17s and clears my garage by a little under 2 inches.

In addition to this lift, he has a evo 1/4 pounder front bumper with warn 8000lb winch, and a purejeep rear with tire carrier.
