Default New Member - is this Jeep lifted?

Hi all - as I posted in the new member registry: Hi All,
For the 37 years I have lived on this planet, I have always wanted a Jeep. And I've never had the opportunity until now. I bought a 2011 JKU in cosmos blue from Chicago, site unseen. It's a 6 speed with factory half doors, 18 inch rockstars (jury is still out on them), and new Trail Grappler MT's. That's basically all I know about it right now as it's on a truck, headed to Atlanta. I am so excited. I get her on Wednesday. Here's a pic...

I have big plans - I don't know if it has any sort of lift, but, depending upon that, I'll figure out. I'll probably do a 2.5 or 3.5. I've already gotten a soft top off Craigslist for a great price and I'll change that out.

The combination of upgraded wheels and tires, cosmos blue, factory half doors (a must on my list) and 6 speed forced me to buy it remotely. I got a screamin deal on it too.

Can't wait to get my feet on the pedals and modding her!!

My question, which I can ultimately figure out when she arrives here, is whether it's already slightly lifted? I can't tell from the pics. I bought it remotely because it was basically a freakishly good combination of features - EXACTLY what I wanted.

Thanks - this is the first of many posts!

Sean

Welcome to the forum/family... It doesn't appear to be lifted at all unless those are 37" tires, but u won't know for sure till u get it... First thing i'd do is take inventory on what has been done ready to make sure it was done right, looks awesome as is so you'll get away with not going crazy with mods right away...

Don't forget to wave!

Thanks! Really glad to be a member - I was discussing the wave last night with the wife. She and I are both in - a guaranteed wave when you pass me!

I'd prefer that it not be lifted so I can do everything the way I want instead of compromising with someone else's taste / choices. I think I have to ditch the Rockstar centers or fab something different. But yeah, It already looks great so I can drive it as is as I plan my mods!

I am an active member over at audi world and have a heavily modified 2012 A6 putting close to 400 HP at the wheels so this one will be a fun / weekend car. Happy to get back into wheeling - I wheeled full size broncos for several years. And got sick off being embarrassed by the Jeeps.

Hello and welcom. Looks great, I'm a big fan of half doors too.

As far as lifted or not, It doesn't look like it from the pic.

Here's a diagram of the factory/stock front suspension dimensions. Compare yours to it.

Don't forget to trim the pinch seams to avoid cutting a tire.

Yes indeed - A rare breed, especially Cosmos Blue.
