Default New mods questions!

Hey guys, so I am looking at buying a few goodies for my jeep here pretty soon and I am debating on which I should get. I am definatly getting some Teraflex front lower controls arms to adjust my caster and get rid of my flighty ride but the question do I get an adjustable front track bar as well? I have a TF 2.5 Coil lift with shocks (netted 3.2' front and 2.5 rear) so I have the Rear TB relocation bracket, is the adjustable front TB worth getting? Or should I get a new steering stabilizer instead?? I am just trying to my make my ride and steering better because it is super flighty and alot of bumpsteer! Thanks in advance!

if properly set up you don't need a upgraded stabilizer really. so get your track bar and a set of font lowers and you should be good.

I am not really famaliar with your lift, but if the lift kit required an adjustable track bar, they would have provided it. If the lift is designed to work with the stock track bar, what will having an adjustaable one do for you?

Given all the threads about DW, I would focus on minimizing that. A good steering stabilizer should help, as long as you don't "mask" a problem with it until is overwhelms the SS. Just my $.02. Interested in what others have to say as well.

Thanks guys, Ultimately I am just wondering if it is worth it to get a ADJ frt trackbar. Does it make the ride or steering better? I know it centers the axle but my jeep is only lifted about 3' and the rear tb relocation bracket appears to be doing the job, I was thinking of maybe alloting the funds for the Trackbar to maybe some new discos instead if I really dont need it.

I highly recommend both the control arms and the trackbar to take care of the flighty steering. Getting the caster to over 6 and the front axle re-centered will do wonders for your ride in both stability and control.

Thanks for the info, is it OK to run the Front ADJ trackbar with the rear trackbar relocation bracket together? Or should I look into get a rear adj trackbar as well?

An adjustable front track bar is used to center your front axle. With 3" or more of lift it is surely off center some and is really needed IMO. This will help your steering problems and handling should be improved. Adjustable front lower control arms are used to add more caster which will help the flighty steering and improve handling also. A new steering stabilizer will have a minimal effect on handling.

Yes, both are used the center the axles.
