New and in need of guidance =)
Okay soo I'm a newbie to the forum even though ive been looking at it for around 6 months now
. I got my jeep on my 17th birthday on Oct. 30th Flame Red 4door Jeep JK. Well first mod ive put on are my 33s KM2s and its still stock, it rubs on full turns. What I wanted to ask is what is the best lift to get to stop this rub thats under 3inches, or what other suggestions can you help me with (dads paying lift so
but he said under 400
). Apart from that I have around 800 bucks to spend
what should i spend it on. I'm not seriously hittin the trials, but i do get into mudbaths and sand here in Brownsville Texas 30 min from the beach. So in resume question number
1. Whats the best lift for 33s under 3 inches and 400 bucks.
2. With 800 bucks what should i spend it on if im not gona rock hump any time soon
. But want that mean awesom look
.
thanx in advance look foward to meetin some of my fellow wheelers.

Welcome to the forum Fellow Flame Red 4 door Jeeper and Texan.
I don't have suggestions on a lift because i just honestly don't know any other options then what i have on mine. Just here saying Welcome and Good luck!
As far as the $800 goes. Check out the "post your flame red" thread. You should get some great ideas from that thread.

- new wheels with a 4.50 or less BS
- add wheel spacers
- add washers to the steer stops

Get wheel spacers to stop the rub.
Get a 2.5" BB if you want to stick with 33's. If you want to go to 35's in the future I personally would go with rough country's 3.5" lift (but that's $100 over your limit).
Check out the show and tell section, you'll get a million ideas to spend your money on.

Ok this is my two cents
since you asked. To get rid of the rubbing you have two choices, A) get a new set of wheels (rims) with 4 1/2 back spacing, B) get a set of wheel spacers that are 1 1/2 back spacing. You can find plenty of forum members that are selling their spidertrack wheel spacers or you can contact Dave at Northridge that sells them brand new for $100 a pair

I bought my spidertrack wheel spacers off a forum member for $100 all four.
On to the next question. To save your self some money and get clearence out of your new wheels and your JK you can buy some Bushwacker flat fender flares

As far as lift goes its just a matter of preferences much like the clothes you wear. If you really want a lift and you can't wait but unsure what to buy, get the Teraflex leveling kit. With leveling kit you get about 1 1/2in of clearance and the great thing about the leveling kit once your done with it and you buy your leveling kit of choice you can sell it on the forum and get some money back. Combine the leveling kit with the Bushwackers your JK will look like it gained 3in of clearance.

Save yourself cash and chop your fenders instead of the bushwackers. Look in the write up section there's a few ways to do it. Plus you can say you did it yourself. all my favorite mods were installed in my driveway.

For lights give Rigid Industries a look, they are doing some awesome things with thier LED's. Personally im torn between Rugged Ridge HID's and Rigid Industries Dually LED's. Northridge4X4 just posted some pics of the Rigid Industries Dually LED's on thier Facebook page.
You might want to look into a tuffy under seat lock box or center console to lolck stuff up in. I you have a soft top, get a bikini top. If you have a hardtop, you can take the back section off and just put the front panels on.
