New Rubi T-Case stuck in 4hi
So I just bought a rubi case off of someone on the forum and installed it and I'm now stuck in 4 hi.
I was told rubi case was brand new and had zero miles on it and it looks it. Before install I made sure it shifted through all the gears (2hi, 4hi, Neutral, and 4lo) It shifted smoothly and each gear did what it was supposed to do. After install i drove about an hour in 4hi due to the road conditions not being ideal and now when I shift into 2hi is still in 4hi. T-case shifts to 4lo perfectly. It shifts through all gears perfectly as a matter of fact. Going from 2hi to 4hi I have the same feeling i had in my old t-case (a good solid engagement) and dash light comes on in 4hi and off in 2hi like it should.
Now for the linkage. Everything looks good. It hasn't fallen off the transfer case, no broken clips. When I installed new t-case I removed bracket that holds the linkage from the transmission and reversed process to re install it.
My trouble shooting consisted of removing front drive shaft, and shifting from 2hi to 4hi and back again multiple times with varying difficulties of force and I'm still stuck in 4hi.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated
