Default new sound any thoughts?

I have a 11 jku with 3inch lift, 1 3/4 spacers, 2 inch body lift and 37s on stock driveshafts and stock d30. Havent had any problems and havent taken offroad much yet besides the beach. Yes its a dd and mall crawler but only because I want to build it up enough to not break evetything my first time out lol. So today I got a new sound when I coasted around a corner...then agaib when I turned and backed up to park. I checked and nothing is rubbing and have had the 37s on for a while. I took it out just now to try to figure it out and its making kind of a grinding/metalish sound when I barely push the gas from a stopped position. I can kind of control it with tge pedal until I start moving and it stops. This was when It was hot and now that its cooled it wont do it. I checked my front shaft and there is a small amount of grease around the front ujoint area but not alot..is this normal? Any ideas guys...thanks in advance

Sounds like it might be a brake pad hanging up.

Anyone out there? Is it normal for a jeep with the amount of lift and tires to have a faulty ds without going offroad much or wheeling hard?

okay, that could certainly wear your drive shafts pretty quick even with minimal off roading. Without changing your rear castor/front pinion angle with adj arms to compensate for the amount of lift you have, there's quite a bit of stress being put on your OE shafts.

It will hold out longer than the oe shaft, but more than likely will eventually wear it out too. It would really help to at least start out with adj front lower control arms to help fix your castor. Also Start with rear uppers to tilt your axle up to ease up your pinion angle.

Ok so I went out reproduced the sound. It inly happens when taking off from a complete stop and goes away fairly fast. Does this sound like a bad driveshaft? Also I rechecked the boot and ujoint. There is a small amount of grease around the ujoint but nit a whole lot. Is that normal?
