Default new stuff

well i bought some mkw 17x8.5 wheels with 0 offset and some 37x12.50-17 dick cepek mt tires. wheels where 149.00 each and tires where 229.00 each. now i just need a day off so i can put on my 4 inch skyjacker lift and 1 inch body lift. and i guess build some bumpers, the rear isnt going to hold a 37. heres the wheel, except in a 5 lug.

here it is stock, not for long, still has under 1500 miles. but when its done i might want to drive it more.

well i got the wheels and tires, but the lift did not show today. since i dont need to drive it to work, i jacked it up 4 inches higher and sat some jack stands under it. im waiting for the 4 inch skyjacker and 1 inch body. i tracked from ups and they said the 9th. and i ended up going with 37x13.50-17 toyo mt,s instead because after to talking with alot of people, i was told they would wear and ride alot better than any other tire. i will find out.

Looks good, but... how're you going to get it back out under the garage door?

well my lift showed up and i installed it today after work, and it has plenty of room for the 37,s, except the front bumper. they forgot to send my front swaybar disconnects and the bushing for the rear arms. but anyway i took it for a long ride and it was nice, tires only have a little hum and ride better than any big tire i have rode on. and as far as power, i can used first gear better now. it felt to low before, and it still has plenty of power. even got up to 85 on the freeway, might have went faster but thats good enough. i was going to do 4.88 gears but i might just do 4.56 gears now. i will get some pics, im still waiting on the 1 inch body lift.
