Default New style grill

Has anyone ever seen this style grill installed?

Just thinking that it would be something different that not a whole lot of people have. Is there a reason for this?

It's an overlay, made by Smittybuilt I think. I've seen it every once in awhile. I've seen a similar style more on pickup trucks. Personally I think it takes away from the "Jeep Look", but to each his own.

I have a friend with a CNC machine and was thinking of building my own? May keep the outer diameter and still incorporate the grill look and maybe flush some KC's in?

I know it requires cutting the grill I just hadn't seen one actually installed. Seems like it needs a little something though? How do you like it now that its on?
Looks good BTW!

Ok my bad. I thought it was something you mount over the grill.

That sounds like a good idea. Big blank canvas for whatever you wanted to do!
