Has anyone heard of anyone putting a drop down tailgate on a Jeep? My wife has a drop down tailgate on her Element, it has a similar lifting rear window, so I assume it could work.

Obviously, first issue I can see is that you would have to have an aftermarket bumper with a tire carrier, but beyond that I think it would be cool.

 

do a little search and you will find it. all you need is a few hours and about 200 to 300 bucks and you have it. woods sells ( http://www.jeepswag.com/ ) a kit along with another company that is not on this forum. there may be more than that i don't know.
