I'm also looking at the Open Country, but also the goodyear duratracs (heard they are good in snow and ice), and either the nitto mud or trail grappler. Tough decision.

Price and traction wise the Duratracs cant be touched. The Nittos are very spendy here in Utah as well as the Toyos. I am not a BFG fan so no comment on those.
