Default Which new tires?

I have an 08 rubicon with an OME 4.5 inch lift, No gear changes, Currently running falkens 285 75 17 I want to go to a 34-35 range. I look at the prices and see 300 + a tire. So what are you guys running? what are some economical choices. I want an all terrain mainly rocks sand road very little mud .

Another question how much difference does the weight of the tire make as opposed to diameter in regards to power loss with larger tires?

Cooper STT or duratracs are both great tires. I am actually running Hercules Trail Diggers, they are a mud terrain but have been very good in every type of terrain. They are probably going to be the most economical out of the 3 I listed. I run mine at about 30 psi and have had no issues with traction, even on wet icy roads they fair well. They also have a stud kit available of you feel the need.
