Is this a new rear shelf from Tuffy? Does anyone have any details on it? Is it out.

I think the dead give away is the tag that says TUFFY BUT it looks like a tuffy cargo liner sitting on top of a shelf to me.

its definitely a Tuffy box of some type, I'm guessing its just like the drawer minus the actual drawer. I have the drawer and the sides in the 2nd pic are the same as mine except the passenger side one is mounted behind the sub, mine is mounted in front of it.

pics of my install

I am thinking they built this so the door is used as the lock/security. I love my drawer the thing rocks and its built solid, I've had it loaded for somewhere around a year without any problems.

Those pictures are indeed of the new Tuffy Security Deck Cover. We installed the prototype and tested in Moab during the Jeep Safari last week. Reception was overwhelmingly positive and production should begin after a few minor tweaks. Look for details on the Tuffy website in the next couple of days.
