Default new wheels

i am wondering what the pros and cons of 15" wheels are on our jk's. i can only find wheels that are 10" wide with 4" or less back spacing in 15". here are the wheels i am considering. i dont air down so the width is not in the debate.

Search my friend. There are plenty of threads about 15" wheels. The short of it is, some steelies rub, alloys don't.

I actually just went from 18" Sahara wheels with 33s to 15" MB TKOs with 35" KM2s.

They clear the brake calipers. You will not be able to add a big brake kit. The only other consideration is aftermarket tie rod ends. If you end up wanting to go with a HD tie rod setup your options will be limited.

But my 35" KM2s ran me $240 a tire. That's like a sore d!ck.......you just can't beat it.

The wheel specs you mentioned (10 inches wide with 4 inches or less backspacing) will also be a fitment issue. Most people run a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS so a wheel that sticks out 1.5 inches or more will mean you will have to run a slightly smaller tire than most people with the same amount of lift.

is it because they will rub the fenders when sway bars are disconnected. i plan on 3.5" lift with 35's

That's a posibility, but you should probably be ok with a 3.5 inch lift. But, if you were running a 9 inch wheel and 4.5 inches of BS you could fit 37x12.50's with that much lift.

Idk but for such limitations with 15" rims I went with 17"s and only spent 30$ more a tire which adds up don't get me wrong but just seems like a benefit in the long run

Balancing issues with a 35"
Aftermarket tie rod fitment

What wheel is that in a 10"?
