Default Newb lift question.

Hoping someone can help me. 2011 4dr jk sport auto. Bought OME spring/shock 2 inch kit. Was a little surprised it comes with just that...and some weird looking bracket thing....a few questions, what is the bracket thing for? Do I need a front or rear track bar? Do I need a steering stabilizer? If so on the prior 2questions, any suggestions? Btw, right now stock 17 rims and stock tires, will be going to 17 rims, and 33x12.5.

If its like you asked then its just that, a bump stop extension. They are used to prevent your shock from bottoming out at full articulation and put that load on the bump stop.

From the pictures it looks like rear bump stop extensions only, the kind the bold to the axle.

The panhard "thing" is a track bar drop bracket. It's used to lower and level the track bar and center the axle.

I just installed my OME kit with the panhard extension a few weeks ago. Without the panhard my rear axle was off center almost 3/4 of an inch. It was visible if you were looking for it. Installing it will center you rear axle under your body. The bump stops prevent the trac bar from hitting your shocks at full articulation. At least that's what the instructions said. Anyways it was very easy to install, took about an hour. You just need a drill and some basic hand tools.
