Default Newbie backspacing question

The lift that I am looking at is a Teraflex 2.5" lift from quadratec. While reading the description I noticed that it recommends that you use a wheel with a 4.5 backspacing. The wheels that I want to put on have a 4 7/16 backspacing. Will this pose a problem? If at all how will it affect the ride? I have a 2012 Sahara unlimited. Thank you in advance

If I am reading your post correctly, 4 inches and 7/16ths of a inch. This is just 1/16ths from being a half inch if the full inch is broke down to 16ths. So to me, that's a 4.5 inch back space. You're good to go my man.

I'm running the 2.5" from TeraFlex with 7069 wheels that have 4.75" of BS. No rubbing at all.

You'll be fine, those come out to 4.44", not enough to make any difference.

You'll be fine. If you were running over 4.5, you might have minor rubbing, but you're gonna be just under 4.5. Post pics after!!

Pull out a tape measure. Count 7 of those tiny notches. That's 7/16. 8 is 8/16= an half inch. I'm pretty sure your good. 1/16 is TINY

as others have said, you're good. especially if you plan to run a wider tire, greater than 11" wide you have plenty of room with that offset. You can actually run a 5.71" backspace with a 11" tire on a 9" wide wheel with no problem either. How wide are your wheels?

1010tires.com has a wheel offset calculator if you play around with it. Factory wheels are 18x7.5 with a 6.25" offset. that's your base line.
