Default Nitro Sleeves loose.

Anybody have this happen to them yet? My drivers side Nitro sleeve went in way to easy and is too loose.

Did you freeze them prior to the install? If so, after they were in, did they tighten up at all? If they're still really loose after a while, then you may need to pull them out and purchase a sleeve that is a drill and weld type. For some reason, your tubes might be a little larger interior diameter than the average. If they just went in easy, that's not really an issue for being effective. Tell us about the whole install procedure you did, step by step.

....or just weld these in at the end of the tube, and a few plug welds along the tube. You can drill with them already in if you are mindful of when you break through the factory tube, and plug weld in two passes.

IMO, a "hammer in" friction fit sleeve does about as much good as a CAI does for engine preformance.

They were installed correctly. Had it tacked welded in place. Problem is it is aluminum and the axle is steel. Will see it it is good enough to hold it in place.

If they sent you aluminum tubes, you have other things to worry about

If they're truly aluminum you could not have tacked them in place. I'm fairly confident they're mild steel.

I have no doubt they were installed per the instructions, but my comment still stands in regards to friction restrained sleeves....

Confirmed with Nitro they are made of steel. They are tacked in place for now.

Having done the nitro sleeves last summer, I can tell you; they're definitely steel and the SHOULD NOT be loose. You have to freeze them and pound the crap out of them just to get them in. Additionally, the ends of the sleeves are knurled and make it nearly impossible for them to move.
