Default Nitro sleeves worth it?

I'm looking to move up to 37s in a year or so once my 35s are done and I want to beef up my stock 30. Will the nitro sleeves be that big of an upgrade to keep the 30 safe. I don't do alot of heavy offloading right now but I def will eventually. It's a DD and I'm kind of trying to build it up slowly with what I can little by little. I know the evo weld ins are good but I don't have a welder and I want something I can do myself. I just want to make sure that the nitro sleeves will actually be worth the money and actually do something

I installed them in my Dana 44 and I believe they are worth the time and money. There is no way for me to test how much they added to the strength of the axle. I did weld the ends of the tubes to the axle tube. Not sure if that helped but will keep them from moving and a little added insurance. The thought behind sleeves making your axle tubes stronger makes sense. You won't be able to tell they are in there when driving. I also added EVO gussets to my axle as well. If you are keeping the d30 I would look into gussets and an axle truss if you want 37s. Hope this helps.

I have Nitro sleeves. Some believe they're not fully needed as they add only 30% more strength to the axle. Wayalife mentioned he thought they were blown out of proportion as far as being a must have. They don't run sleeves on their Rubicat's D30 on 37's either.

Rubicat doesn't have a D30. It's a Rubicon therefore it has a D44 up front.

I got the nitro sleeves in my 30--they're cheap insurance, and an easy install.
