Default Nitrous bottle to co2

Hey guys, can i use a nitrous bottle like this........

to hold co2?
If so, I need a regulator and what else. I came across a 10lb bottle, hell its still half full of nitrous.
Just lookin for some way to use it.

go to your local welding supply shop they will tell you . i traded an old argon bottle straight across for my co2 bottle then just pay for the fill, 20lbs about 20 bucks. they will also show you what gauge you need cheap one runs about 65 bucks , i love it

x2, the saturated vapor pressure seems to be very close to CO2, so I would think it would work. Hyperflow and powertank both make high flow adjustable regs so that you can run air tools or just fill up your tires super fast.

I work in draft beer service, we use both types of gas. Co2 and Nos bottles have different connections for the regulator. Co2 being male at the bottle and Nos being a female connection at the bottle. Pretty sure you're gonna need a different bottle.

Hmm, I'll find out tomorrow when I bring it by, I actually have 2, the other one is twice the size though, maybe they'll trade or somethin.

Good question man. I'm helping my buddy clean out his garage, am everything that's in it is up for grabs. He has a bunch of old NX nitrous bottles from when he race mustangs...

I'll make sure I grab them just in case.
