Default Nitto Mud Grapplers PSI

Hey everyone-

I just picked up a set of 35 inch mud grapplers off craigslist and was wondering what psi everyone is running in them. They are E rated, so I guess that is why the sidewall is recommending 45 psi. I think this is a little steep, but wanted to check with all of you. Right now it seems a little bouncy. They are 35 12.5 18's.

Thanks

I run my 33in Mud Grapplers (same E rating) at 37 psi. They ride a little hard, but I have 32,000 miles on mine and have only lost 3mm out of the original 14mm tread depth with even wear. I also wheel hard 3-4 times a year. Make sure you rotate them every 3-5,000 miles and they will last a good long time.

I've never seen a recommended pressure on a tire but I've seen a load rating at a maximum pressure. Since the tire maker doesn't know what it will be run on, how could they make a recommendation?

13 PSI Offroad 30-35 Daily, it pretty much comes down to comfort and how much wear you want on your tires !

Thanks alot man. I looked for that thread, but couldnt find it. Thanks for all you help.

Since I have a PowerPlant it's been convenient for me to play with the tire pressures a bit. For me I've found that 32 PSI is best for ride and mileage.

35x18 here - generally 32 on and 15-18 off.
