I'm liking the duratracs best out of all the at tires.

I really like the toyo mt tire, but compared to regular tires or at tires. Is the noise noticeable? Do they handle any different? I've had several big lifted trucks with mud tires. This is my first jeep (smaller vehicle) so I wanna get it right the first time.

Never had a problem out of mt's on my cummins or powerstroke trucks and usually ran procomp extreme mud terrains

Terra grapplers are awesome tires! I ran them everywhere (look in my albums) and they always performed above expectations. They do look better in person than in pictures.

Fierce attitude mts. Last a long time and ride good. A little loud but nothing major. Sound about like the terra grapplers.

I myself got the Nitto's. NTB had them for 100 bucks cheaper per tire than the Goodyears. Not much but they took $50 off for being a vet, and also got a $100 rebate. Nice and quite on the road and snow traction was very good.

I have almost 10k miles on my Terra Grapplers and they barely show any wear and trust me, I've put them through hell. They perform excellent in just about everything except for deep/thick mud. They turn to slicks in the deep stuff. They humm just a little bit at 65 or so. All around great AT!

While not as aggressive, I have the Falken Wildpeaks. Great all around tire! Best bang for the buck. Rides great and quieter than stock too. Just a thought...

Not to sound like I'm all about MPG...but since gas is going up quite a bit it's on my mind.... Does any one know what the MPG drop would be going from Stock Sahara tires to Goodyear Duratracs?? My Jeep is stock for now but I'm looking at getting a more aggressive tire

Much thanks

I put Trail Grapplers on my 2500 dodge. Love them. Not too loud on the hwy. Excellent look. Bite in and pull hard. Excellent wear considering they were on a heavy truck and I pulled a camper. I don't drive my truck like an ass though.

All our work trucks have the duratracs. Again, very good tire. I find they have less noise on the highway, but also a little less bite then the Trail Grapplers, although very capable still. The duratracs on the work trucks frequently see sustained high speeds on both paved and gravel, (160kph) hard cornering, hard stops. Pretty much the worst torture testing short of rock crawling and they hold up excellent. They don't fling rocks like the trail grapplers will either. After all that we still get 30-40k km out of them.

Just some of my experiences with each.

I'm running the Nitto Trail Grappler in a 37 on mine. I can't say they're quiet, though, but not near as bad as some I've had. They're about the same as the BFG KM2's, sound wise, in my opinion.

I have a friend that runs them and he luvs them.... I just got some Dick Cepek Mud Country's and they are hella quiet and smooth, I've only put a few hundred miles on em but they seem to be real solid.
