NITTO terra or trail?
I drive 24.6 miles to work every morning somewhere between 6-7am central time. I then drive 24.6 miles from work to home sometime between 5-8pm central time. Almost every day of the week I drive around 10 miles to the store, fabrication shop, or a friends house. So I drive around 50-60 miles a day. I want to do some light off roading, mainly just trails. I want to know if you would put NITTO tera grappers (33" AT) or NITTO trail grappers (33" MT) on the jeep. Any input would be awesome.

If there's any decent mud in your future... or more regular off-road fun - then you might want to consider the MT's
i've got terras on mine and they do great even in difficult stuff, just okay in mud. I try to avoid mud anyway. Next time I'll got with trails just for the extra bite, but I'm sure they wont wear as well as the terras do.

I'd good with the Trail Grapplers. Mount'em mean side out. I doubt they'll handle the pavement too poorly or make too much noise compared to some other mudders. But that's just me. A low rumble at low speeds and a slight howl at high speeds doesn't bother me. I also like to be prepared. You never know when you might get the urge to bowl through a mud hole or climb a mountain.
...and they look cool.

If you have an inclination to start offroading I would go with the trails. Im sure you get some nice mud/clay down there so they will greatly help.
If not the Terras will last longer and ride better. But the trails really are not too aggressive of a mud terrain. The look like the KMs on the rubis which rode just fine

Like has already been said: If you plan on doing any wheeling around Bama, you are going to see mud and/or good old Alabama Red Clay. So, out of those two choices, I vote for the trails. Better to have a more aggresive tire and not need it, than to have a less aggresive one and get stuck!
But then again, I am running 35" Mud Grapplers on my DD, so ............. what do I know?

Thanks for all the info. I have decided to go with the TERRA's on the new 18" ultra gauntlet wheels. Will my stock 3.73 gears be ok for 34.5" tires and light off roading? I can get 32.5x12.5x18 or 34.5x12.5x18. I will be putting a 1.75" or 2" suspension lift on it at the same time.
