See, he's not a baby...and, we can throw him a fish...or, he can see that there are 1,000's of fish for the taking.

So, sure, each of us can say in this ONE thread that we like/dislike a tire....

AND/OR he can READ 1,000's of posts that GIVE MORE INFORMATION THAN THIS ONE THREAD.

I didn't "bash" him.

I was teaching him to fish, instead of giving him 1 fish.

I gave over 30 PAGES of response...it took me about 10 seconds to search, and paste the results...of real time....as I am always on dozens of boards at the same time, working, and writing reports, etc...the posts are fill between other stuff.

When a newbie obviously didn't know that all of this info was there, for free, for the taking...TELLING HIM ITS THERE, is NOT "bashing"...its HELPING.

I spend a fair amount of time responding to posts that the answers are already on the forum...and haven't told people to search much at all (Do a search...you'll see...)

I would not have SHOWED him search results if he HADN'T said HE SEARCHED AND FOUND NOTHING.

So - My post was more helpful and informative than your mother hen, "OMG the guy's going to cry because he didn't realize something..."

Have some faith in humanity!!!

JUS 1 MO proved he's a man, and able to take constructive advice.

Now, let go of his hand, don't cry when he goes off to school like a big boy...and go hit a trail with a smile.

I am running 305/70/17 Terra Grapplers and am very pleased with them. They are pretty quiet on the road and have handled all of the trails that I have been on extremely well.

I air down to about 18psi when I go off road and have had no issues with rocks, logs or mud.

I have put about 5,000 miles on them so far and se little if any wear.

I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them. I bought mine on ebay through discount tire. They were very reasonable and free shipping.

Respect for you just went up

For the record, I'd love to get my hands on a set of Mud Grapplers... they look awesome, and everyone that has them seems to love them too. I can't remember reading a single bad thing about them (people even seem to love the noise they make ).

Let me click into one of those 500 and see just what it says...

What exactly is "excelent treadwear?" My terra's lasted 10k and I've never, ever seen a set of Mud grapplers with thread. By the time they drive home from the tire store, they're halfway done...... The terra's do ride awesome though

i ran terra's on my f150. put about 15,000 on them and they were a little under half tread. they performed very well for an A/T and rode well for a load E tire. Dont know how they would ride on a light jeep though. but i was happy with them.

One bad thing I can think of is the price, a bit on the high side. But what is it people say, you get what you pay for.
I was thinking of these tires (Nitto Mud Grapplers) but went with BFGoodrich KM2's instead because of the price and the good feed back they were getting as well.

How'bout some pics of the 305/70's?! I'm considering them too. You only have stock pics in your gallery.
