Nitto trail grapplers ???
I have the duratracs and love them. Great in snow/ice, quiet on the road, and seem to offroad well...worked well for me anyway. My only complaint would be sidewall thickness/toughness. However, I am moving to Nittos in 37s soon and can't wait to get them on!

An unbiased opinion from my personal experiences since we sell all the mentioned tires in this thread. Yes, the Nitto is a heavier tire than others, but it is also the best on road/off road tire made today. They balance out very easily, have excellent tread life, do well on the street, shine in the rocks, clear out mud with a little wheel spin and have *the* toughest sidewalls of any radial tire available today on the market. That's why they are as heavy as they are. The KM2 is a good tire, but I have seen too many sliced sidewalls to ever trust it on a trail (and personally have had a sliced BFG as well). Goodyear Kevlars are not the easiest to balance and lots of people have issues with them, YMMV. Duratracs are pretty decent and I like them, but not aggressive enough for serious offroad use. Toyos are good as well. None to the level of the Nitto though in both on and off road performance.
Perfectly said...when peeps say the Nitto tire is nothing special, I honestly think it's out of ignorance.

I just put on a set of 37 Trail Grapplers. Took some weight to balance but balance they did and they drive nice. Love the look. Don't have much practical experience to provide other than they are decent on the road and pretty quiet and balanced well. I think you will like them.

I am running those nitto's on the jeep (35x17) an previously had the toyos on a Titan (35x18). Tey are both really heavy. I think the nittos are quieter but it could be bc of the difference in vehicle size and weight. The toyos lasted a Lon long time. I think they look better too but I am perfectly happy with the way the jeep looks with nitto.
All of those tires are a compromise so I went a different direction. I run 35" Duratracs on the street as a DD tire and 37" IROKs on the trail. The Duratracs are fine for most people who don't do a lot of deep mud or big rocks. If I had to settle on a single tire, it would either be Nitto Trail Grapplers or Toyo Open Country MT's.
