Here is a 315/70-17 on stock rims - plastidipped for now until I get time to paint them black.

Great tire and I have no complaints. It's heavier than some because the sidewall is thicker. I have 8,000+ miles on it. You also won't hear of people having problems balancing them like some other tires.

i ordered my 37" trail grapplers yesterday. after talking to Mel at ORE about them and the Toyo's I felt the Nitto was better for my needs. The 37" Toyo is also a load E while the Nitto is a load D. A bit more flexy aired down and a touch softer than the Toyo for my lighter 2door. Not has hard on steering components as the wider and a touch heavier Toyo. Both tires are awesome and get great reviews besides the whines about the weight. That weight helps keep you planted on the rocks and trails too.

Thanks for all the replies, keep the info coming. All of your Jeeps look great. It seems to be a really good tire, and I'm not to concerned about the weight issue.

I love the Nitto's, 10 ply tire that will take tons of abuse! Quiet on the road and gas mileage isn't too bad, with any m/t it is going to take mileage down by a few mpg's but well worth having the capabilities of these tires!

Here are the Toyos close up for comparison

In 37" Toyos are 13.50 wide, closer to 14" in actuality. The 37" Nitto is 12.50. Both are blocky tires. For this reason only I chose the Nittos. They should rub less than the Toyos. I get them installed on Monday.
