Default Nitto trails vs. MTR/K's actual diameter

I'm trying to find out what the actual mounted diameter is of both the Nitto Trail Grappler and Goodyear MTR/K in the 37X12.5X17 size. Which one is closer to being a true 37". I've checked the spec sheets on both but I know those aren't true.
Also, if someone's had both of these tires, which one do you like better?

My MTR'S are about 36 1/4 at 28 psi. 8 inch wide wheel.

Never run the Nittos so I can't compare.

Thanks guys. I know the MTR/K's are great offroad, but how are they as a daily driver on the street?
Now how about the Nittos?

I have had both on 37" Nittos and mtrs, and recommend Nitto all the way. Mtrs are much loader and was always chasing balancing issues, I only have 5,000 miles on Nittos and love them.

Muddenjeep: And were your MTR's the old style or the new ones with Kevlar?

Doesn't look like that is mounted on your jeep.

From all my research and I've done a lot the MTR's w Kevlar seem to come closest to their supposed size..... I've run Mickey Thompson MTZ's and the Duratracs... Just bought 37" MTR's w Kevlar (not on jeep yet) weight was a concern for me and the MTR's are about the lightest you can get, they're deff lighter then the Nittos ..... A lot of guys seem to love the MTR's and my friend with 35's does as well... Performing great Offroad ..... YES you hear the odd guy post up about balancing issues or some take alot of weights to balance with the MTR's but I took my chances.... Good luck
