I've had both. 38" Toyos on my CJ and I currently have 35" Nitto's on my JK. The Toyos are quieter and I honestly believe that you can't go wrong with either, however, when I move up to 37's on the JK, you can bet it'll be 37" Nitto's.

Toyo and Nitto are part of the same company. My fun fact of the day.

i love my nitto mud grapplers. i think they look the most aggressive ,but i also have heard nothing but good things about the toyos. i just like the look of the mudd grapplers better.

Another vote for Cooper STT's....

BUT no complaints about the Toyo M/T's on my CTD for wear and mud traction....just price and weight are the issue with Toyo's.

I also have the Grapplers and i love them, ride good and look awesome! They are a bit noisy on the road but thats what i want out of an aggressive tire =D the luder the better

Also though my brother had a set of grapplers on a heavy duty he had a while back that were lifted in 35's and they started cupping and wearing extremely fast and got ridiculously loud...but that is on a much heavier vehicle. I only have 13k miles on mine but so far they are wearing excellent.

I have had the toyo's on several vehicles and love them... they are stiff on the jk but with lower pressure they work well... They last forever even on a high power diesel truck that is used for camper duty... mud and snow are no problem and they are the quietest mud tire I have ever owned... pricey for sure too...
