Ok, so I was left out, so I decided to get my "mod" on. On my newly purchased 08 I wanted to start with performance, so I bought a "afe" CIA. After install I did a SOP (seat of pants) test which miserably failed It literally drags between gears, and whistles through rpm ranges. What gives? Is there a computer reset to do? What's your thoughts? Thanks

AFE makes Central Intellegence Agencys? cool i want one

On a real note... the jeep is not a Civic... a K & N Panel filter really changed my seat of pants feel i would say 3-5 HP... the MBRP exhaust gained the most and the superchips with the tow tune was the icing because of the shift points and it takes the lag out of the electronic throttle... CAI(cold air intake) is junk IMHO...

Yeah CAI lol. It was an easy doable cheap try. I guess you get what u pay for though. Next will be exhaust and chip after Christmas.

If you do the chip and exhaust and still don't feel the difference that would be terrible. I just have a drop in filter and it breathes exponentially better than the stock filter.

I totally want to get an MBRP system as well. Post up some pics of the install when all that fun stuff shows up!!!

The whistling?

I think I'm pulling mine and putting a drop-in K&N.

Default Drop in oil free?

This was a good little read for me. Almost pulled the trigger on CIA this morning.
Quick question, is the K&N drop in oil free?

(I had Rustys Air Tubes on my XJs with 6x9 cone k&ns and flowmasters 40/50 series, throttle response woke up and less downshifting at highway speeds - but I guess I'll go with the drop in
