No rubbing with 35's on stock wheels
I've tried the search feature but it doesn't seem to like me too much.
I've heard a lot of different thoughts on this but I am trying to get some definitive answers.
Is it possible to put 35" tires on the stock 17" moab rubi wheels and not experience any rubbing without the use of spacers? Is there a way I can accomplish this?

For the 35's...on the street, its about the width...as in 35's that are 11.5" section width (285's, etc...) seem to clear...but - off road, on stuffage, you'd need a 1" BL to preserve articulation, or longer bump stops which steal articulation.
Lots of people are running 2.5" Lifts for 35's and are quite happy.
For 33's, same deal on width...285's or less seem to clear, wider rubs, but, they are OK on stuffage...as the stock tire is 32" anyway...the 33" tire is only protruding another 0.5" upwards.
Hope that helps!

33x11.5 will rub slightly on max turn with stock rims can be fixed by adjusting the steering stops. Disconnected you will rub the fenders badly.
35x12.5 will rub a lot on stock rims. Disconnected you will rub badly with anything under 2.5" of lift.
The Spidertrax spacers I have been running for about 10 months now have been trouble free, and I have checked the torque on them regularly. They are high quality and I have no problem whether it is on or off road with them.
