Noise from front end...
I have been having some noise (rattle/clank) from the front end for a month or so now...I have a RK 2.5 Flex Kit with Fox 2.0 shocks... I REALLY noticed it when I was going through a drive thru and it had some rough pavement. Sounds like shit...
At first I thought it was the shocks...I can grab the body where it says fox and spin it around. I can also grab the shock body, shake it, and it has a little bit of play, mostly between the body and the shaft from what I can tell.
Then, I thought it may of been my RK quick discos, so went and bought wing nuts, tightend them up but still get the sound...
Next, while I was under there I grabbed my track bar and shook it back and forth and got some play in it and some noise that may match the noise I hear, but the entire jeep was rolling back and forth at that point. I am guessing there should be NO play at all in the trackbar. It is an RK adjustable. From searching it seems I may need to check the jam nut? Grab a big ole crescent wrench and some red loctite and just tighten the bastard as tight as I can?
I should mention I have abnormal strength to most, if that matters.. .So when I say I shook something it's like a gorilla grabbing a tree and shaking it.... I should also mention I did not install this I had a local jeep place install it as my homeowners association will not allow auto work in the driveway, and since we had just moved the garage was full of shit... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This is probably a long shot, but I had something similar with my jeep when it was only a week old. Turned out the cross member bolt on the passenger side was coming out and caused some play in the cross member. When I hit big bumps it would sound like a "clunk" and when I hit a rough patch of road it would "rattle."

Smash... Thanks. Will do for sure just to check.
Just as an 'I wonder'...
I wonder if when they installed it they didn't grease the joint there on the trackbar...I just got under there and put as much marine grade grease as possible with my grease gun... Since I've had my lift I haven't driven it but 3k miles I would say... And I figured every oil change would be fine (5k miles).
Another question... Could it be my tierod? That thing flops up and down with very little effort...
Thanks again guys...
Btw the jam nut on the tie rod seems to be bottomed out and tight visually...
