Default A non-snorkel snorkel.

I'm wondering if there is a non-snorkel snorkel, like the one on this military JK... Anyone running one of these? Where do you buy it and is it good?

I believe that it's a special dustsnd sand prefilter. Not made to stop water intake but it us positioned a but higher than the stock box so must help somewhat.

You know what, I just don't understand that military jeep. All of those cool ass mods! I want some guns for mine!!!But yet it has stock Goodyear wrangler tires. What's up with that? You would think they would put some big wide tires on there. Something that would be good in the sand.

it'd probably work as a snorkel as you as you keep in mind not to get water above the hood. It probably wouldn't be too hard to fashion from a universal scoop and some sealant.

p.s. I wish they'd sell that body set up direct from chrysler.

I was thinking about this too. Maybe you could rivet a metal dryer vent cover to the hood? Would look pretty crappy but might be functional if you cut a hole and extended the air intake up into the opening.

I'm kinda torn over which one I want. The rugged ridge one is better because it has the pre filter but the river raider one has a much cleaner look
