I just upgraded to the RK 3.5 x factor. It all depends if you lift it or not. I had a 2.5" lift w/35's and it road horrible! So hopefully this will fix it. Just ordered it!!! Must.......be.......patient.......:(

They are the 2 rods that extend from the frame to the axle, and help keep it in place. Depends on how high a lift you get as to whether or not you need them.

Factory arms will treat you fine. Down the road you may want front lower arms only, to get the steering back to a more factory feel. But that can wait.

Default Front Suspension Pic

Here is a good link to a front suspsension pic that may help you

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...icture-168235/

Stock JKs have four sets of control arms (8 total). 2 Front Lower, 2 Front Upper, 2 Rear Lower, 2 Rear Upper

If you lift your jeep 2.5 inches or so, it isn't a bad idea to get adjustable front lower arms. Makes it handle a little better, but its not required. Some companies also sell relocation "correction" brackets for your control arms on the frame side that will also return to near stock geometry.
