Default Noob with a question about Superchips

So I'm looking to buy my first JK 4 door, I've owned two Cherokees in the past. My question is do Superchips or any chips work with manual transmission, if so what are the benefits for me. I live in the mountains of Colorado (about 6k-8k above sea level) I want to lift it about 3.5" and put 35" on it. It's a daily driver to and from work about 70 miles round trip on the highway. I will do some light off roading on the weekends, no rock crawling. Will I benefit from a chip? Will it help a bit on MPG? Which brand would be the best?

It will:
  • Fix your spedometer
  • Allow you to disable your TPMS
  • Install a tune to boost performance

There are a few other things you can do for Automatic, but those are some of the basics that can still apply to you. My buddy has a 6 speed and likes the tunes on his. I have an automatic and a Superchips and it made a difference in the responsiveness of the Jeep!

TPMS? Oh you mean TPS Reports! LoL just kidding. I have no idea what that stands for?

I'm trying to buy a JK with a manual transmission but it looks like inventory is limited.

TPMS = tire pressure monitoring sensors

If you get bigger wheels and tires, and don't feel like moving the old ones over or getting new ones, you can disable the warning light that comes on when you don't have them

I'm trying to look for a JK with manual transmission but all that seems to be out there is a lot of auto's and I'd rather buy a manual because of the gearing.

Are looking for a new Jeep?
2011-2013 = no Superchips, they can't get into factory software.

I don't think so, budget is only going to allow for $20k so probably 2007-2009 maybe newer if I can find the right deal. But I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen with how limited manuals are on the market right now.
