I have an unlimited and bought a 2 door jk backseat. Does anyone know if the TJ/LJ mounting brackets will work with the JK seat?

Anyone?

don't know why a little welding couldn't fix the problem. i turned a back seat around in my old YJ to have a back facing seat to sit in when i was fishing. good luck

True. Got a welder, just need to know if how much cutting/welding is necessary.

I would think about welding in similar mounting points from a 2 door, that way the seat would be easy to remove or flip forward for cargo. Maybe you can find a wrecked 2 door and take the mounting tabs from the rear seat...

Teraflex makes the exact brackets your looking for!

2004 to 2006 tj brackets work perfect. The jk brackets are part of the tub. Tj brackets will bolt in with no cutting or welding.

So the seat width is the same? This is the answer that I'm looking for, because I can get these out of any wrecked TJ instead of spending $300 for the teraflex brackets. Thanks.

I think the seat width is pretty close, but the tj brackets can be mounted to any width you need. My 2009 unlimited had my tj seat in the rear, and when I traded the tj for my 2010 two door, the seat from it fit without any problems

Wow, I just got a 2 door rear seat, but havent got the braket to do the install yet.
I would be rilly interested to see pics of the TJ brakets in a JKU, and know that the fold and tumble, and removel options work!
Thanks,
Andy

were the seat belts functional? I wouldn't mind doing this but i don't think it would work with the factory sub woofer.
