it all comes down to $$$. skyjacker is great for the price, right? any budget lift is.... until you realize it's budget/cheaper for reason. you get what you pay for. you can by the FT, TF, or RE premium kits that come with just about everything and pay near $1500 plus. that's why it's $1500 or more. the 4wd shop should have told you. my guess is they wanted to make a sale. and telling you that you'd end up spending like $2k on top of rims, tires, etc in their minds might scare you off so they went for the easy sale and left a customer unsatisfied. happens all the time.

If people knew they would have to spend $ for driveshafts and adjustable arms they would think twice about buying a lift. That is why most companies don't mention it. When I had my kit installed, Hi Country Performance 4x4 never mentioned the driveshaft problem. I even specifically asked to have all issues addressed during the initial installation. Do any of the lift companies address the driveshaft problem now? I think the DS should be a part of the kit.

Honestly' with even as much information that is on this forum , you should know that any four inch lift and some three inch are going to cause driveline probs. Most reputable lift companies are adding into their ads that driveline mods may be needed ( take that as it will be needed) I'm sorry to here that your having problems , but with the number of probs on this forum people have had with there lifts anything over a 2.5 bb , I would have expected it. Anyway make the best of it and just get some good JE reels or a good aftermarket shaft, or check your area for some driveshaft builders.
