Default Nutzert Rocker Panel Repair Help

I decided to remove my PSC rockers off to sand and reprint and unfortunately half off the drilled nutzerts were stripped. I removed the screws from the still remaining good nutzerts and then had to gently pry off the rocker panels pulling out the rest off the nutzerts still attached to the panels. I am now left with several bare holes and am at a stand still. What is my best bet for repair; beat the panels back on and hope what good zerts are left will securely hold the panel in place or somehow repair the holes and re-drill new holes and nutzerts?

I just drilled the nutzerts with a bit larger than the threaded portion and worked it until the the outboard lip was gone then I would just push the bad nutzert into the body. Light pressure is key when drilling them out. Then just simply install a new nutzert in the same hole.

On nutserts that have spun and can't be tightened you can tack weld or lightly weld the nutsert to the body.
