To put in rear upper adj. ca's and set pinion to 2 degrees under being inline with the stock ds until i put in the coast ds.

I would measure the ones you take out and put the new ones in with the same measurement. You can adjust when you get the new DS later if needed.

Did that untill I get a DS with the correct lengh. I have had no problems so far, even at full articulation in an RTI, with the rear sway bar discoed.

I have both front and rear coast ds sitting in shed. I need to get a torque wrench that will go 160 ft.lbs. but, want to put uca's in and adj. till i adj with stock shaft till i pick up wrench.
