Odometer? Has anyone got the dealer to flash with lareger tires
I have searched through some threads and found some info about the topic but none of them answered my question. How far off is the odometer going to be if you put on bigger tires? Can the dealership flash the computer so that it will place the3 correct milage on your jk? I don't want o be driving around without making the necessary changes and being putting the incorrect milage on my jeep. I hear that the dealer can only flash for up to 32" tires. Whats the deal. Anyone have any info on this or been to the dealer to get this done?
The dealer can only set the tire size to the available stock tire sizes, so 32" tire is as large as they can get. My dealer charged me $85 to change mine and still didn't get it right when I had 31" tires.
If all you want to do is change tire size then the ACCU PRO Speedometer and Odometer Calibrator should work just fine.

Larger that 32" requires a programmer, like the one Robar linked to.
Is my odometer and the milage I put on my jk going to be different since I went to 33" tires. Will it display incorrect milage as far as adding more or less to the odometer.
Anyone know where I can find a place who has the ACCU PRO Speedometer and Odometer Calibrator. I don't really want to spend $200

If your speedometer is showing an incorrect speed then your odometer is showing incorrect mileage.
The ACCU PRO is can only calibrate one vehicle. You have to enter the VIN and in order to calibrate a second vehicle you have to set the first vehicle back to stock.

So am I putting more or less miles on my odometer with 33" tires? I'm guessing more.
I know pretty much every person on here puts larger tires on their JK. Is everyone on here really reprogramming so they get a true reading? Is it that big of a deal? What things should I be concerned about if I don't reprogram so I get true readings?

With bigger tires you are showing fewer miles on the odometer than you are actually traveling and your speedometer is showing slower than you are traveling.
I am sure that not everyone is reprogramming. I haven't made any changes since I got my 35s, but I use a GPS to tell me my correct speed when I want/need to know. If you don't reprogram your mpg calculator will be incorrect and the transmission may shift at odd times, because it thinks you have smaller tires than you do.
