Default Offroad Heros and Doors Question

For the guys with ORH tops aftermarket half doors or soft doors...what are you running and how have they been with leaks? I'm looking for summer doors and wondering how this top is with leaks? Every leak thread I read has been other tops. Want to know what the experiences are with ORH tops. (I am hoping to avoid seeing this get hijacked into yet another ORH good vs evil thread...my top is ordered and so far the support provided by Tim has been excellent.)

Tim is awesome, most all complaints are from impatient people who ordered their top and wanted it a week ago. Tim is a one man shop and works very hard. As far as your question goes I have used the top for about 3 or 4 years in every configuration known to man. If you got the cargo top you will get some leaking in the back due to rain on your seat belts, it rains on them and will leak down past the velcro, so make sure you strap them down tight. Pay attention to the amount you torque the front 2 bolts down over your driver and passenger. It creates a bow and the rain run off runs right down your driver and passenger sides, its the only thing annoying i dont love about the top, however I use besttop tube doors and you can just use ur upper sections to block that. However it will run right in your dang door if you dont have those on. I thought of mounting a simple rubber strip over the section really thin and flexible to not cause the issue just havent done it yet. Other then that, ZERO leak issue, he has a center section run off design that was very well thought out and leaks zero! Other then that you made the right choice, no better top out there for versatility and custom vision then Tims OFH Top. Love it. Plus one other thing is the top provides a small exo cage that you can use for camera mounts, handles and many other custom ideas.

TJA thanks for the response (nice looking rigs!). I'm guessing you mean the Bestop doors with the panels attached? Do they keep the rain out in a good storm? Also, did you mean you were thinking of adding the strip to the fabric of the top? Obviously I don't have mine yet, and I'm guessing here, but I'm not sure how that would hold up when you roll the top up?
