I would suspect an error in the spring manufacture if only one is exhibiting this trait.
The shock doesn't actually support the vehicle. May also be a broken link causing the vehicle to shift. Have you got underneath and checked it out? Anything broke?

Yeah everything looked solid, I was also thinking a busted body mount?
Seeing as the bumper mounts to the frame and the body is not hitting it, its probably not a body mount. I would say with that side coil spring came unseated or has failed. The other side coil spring could also have come unseated causing it to be higher.

Fully agree. Coil seems the most likely culprit.
I am sure you would have noticed but if you have a low tire on that side it will cause it to sit lower. I agree a shock should not make a difference unless coils was really soft and high pressure shocks but that is unlikely. What kind of lift? the other day I noticed my buddy had a derlin (sp?) spacer that was cracked completely in half and the only thing holding it in place was the coil and if he would have dropped that side tire down flexing he would have lost the spacer as it was in two pieces.
