Default Offset rims and wear

I am understanding that a TF leveling kit would not cause any additional wear on drive shafts or universals, but what can I expect if I go with a Crager soft 8s with a 4" offset any additional wear?

i believe it will shorten the life of your wheel bearings (unitbearing) because of the additional leverage on the bearing due to the tire sitting farther away from the vehicle
