Default Oil Change Light

Simple question!!!!
How do I turn that damn thing off?
I change my own oil...have done it twice since new (once at 2500kms and again at 7500kms) and now @ 9500kms the computer tells me to "change oil" every time I start my jeep.
Thanks!

turn the key to the on position (do no start) and press the gas pedal down three times. that should do it
i think this is from the manual:
To turn the indicator off...

Put the key in the ignition,
Turn it to the on position, (do not start)
Fully depress the gas pedal to the floor three times
Turn the key off,
Remove the key,
Indicator should be off on your next start up.

The salesman I bought mine off (a friend who has since been laid off) said as long as I keep the dated reciepts for the purcahse of the oil and the filter then I am okay.
I used to be a chrysler technician before moving to law enforcement so I should be able to change my own oil without causing massive explosions

Now we're in trouble. All it takes to become a " Law Enforcement Officer" is to previously have been a Chrysler Technician. My computer never works and he has a Taser.

Haha.
I didn't design the damn things
And in Canada we don't carry tazers...only our tactical units and some of our Sergeants do :(
