Default oil change and super chip

Hey all,

I just got home from college for Christmas break and my jeep is giving me the "Change Oil Soon" message. I was thinking i would take it to the dealer and have them do it. But, i left my super chip at college and cant set it back to stock. So i have a few questions
#1. Would the dealer notice that i have a tune installed while doing an oil change, or would they not check the obdi port?

#2. I could change the oil myself, but how do you turn off the "Change Oil Soon" message?

#3. Exactly what oil should i use?

Thanks for your help

Just do it yourself then:

- Turn key to "on" (not start)
- Depress the throttle pedal to the floor 3 times within 10 seconds
- Turn key to "off"

The manual specifies 5w-20 and about anything in that weight should be fine. It's a mini-van motor, no need to use anything special.

You're welcome. I edited my reply...I had the "time" wrong. 3 times in TEN seconds.
