Default Oil Filter part #

Like title says im trying to get the part number for the 2013 Wrangler oil filter. I have a couple un used from my 2012 but wanted to make sure they are the same before i go ahead and do this. Im trying to google search and its not in my owners manual on what one to use.

The ones i have are M0-744. Also another number on the box says 1-68079744AC

What oil are you guys using? I was thinking of going over to mobil one synthetic as long as it meets the requirements in the owners manual.

The M0-744 is the Mopar filter and will work just fine for you.

I use Mobil 1 and have 0 complaints. Will continue to use it for the next change

They changed the filter in either the 13 or 14. I'm not sure which. If you pull it out and it looks the same, you're golden.

Service department will be closed today but you could call auto zone or similar and have them run a check on the data base. Not that you are using their product but it would tell you if there is a difference.

Oil filters are the same as i pulled it out and double checked with the new one. Using the MOPAR brand oil filters. As far as oil i went with Penzoil synthetic 5w 20 because that had meet or exceeded the requirements by chrysler. Only reason i went with this right now is because i couldn't see any others that meet the requirements in the short time i looked. Mobil 1 did not say anything about meeting those requirements which is why i went away with that choice.
