I installed the adapter and sending unit a while ago and I am satisfied.
Oil filter adapter plate size 3/4 UNF-16 part # 3/4UNF-16 purchased from Prosport Performance at a cost of $38.99 : Z series oil pressure gauge, 2- 1/16electrical ,100 PSI / Part # 105-2634 from JEGS at a cost of $59.99. It was simple to install, I am going to try to include pictures.

Install a T fitting under the oil pressure switch so you can have an oil pressure sending unit and still have the idiot light switch.
The oil pressure switch is located on the right side of the timing chain cover, above the oil filter.

Best write-up with pics so far. Thanks. Will the adapter affect the idiot light?

As long as the wiring is hooked up there should be no problem with the idiot light. I have been advised that the computer can sense if something is missing and not to disconnect the idiot light .
