Default Is it ok to remove rear trackbars relocation bracket?

I've been running the rockkrawler 2.5" stock mod kit for about a year now.

My rear axle is NOT centered. It is off by about an Inch to the left side. I believe if I remove the rear relocation bracket it will pull it back to center.

Is there any reason not to do this? I never welded the bracket on so it just unbolts.

What is the point of the bracket if it takes the axle off center...

I have bilstein 5100s If it matters.

Go for it! The relocate bracket is a cheaper solution to an adjustable track bar. If it is pushing your axle off center there is no reason you can't just use the OEM setup. Seems odd though with 2.5" lift.

The track bar acts as a locating and stabilizing link between the axle housing (front or rear) and frame.

typically, when you lift a JK, the axle shifts over to the passenger side. if your axle really did shift to the driver side, you either didn't get as much lift as you were supposed to or, the relocation bracket was made for a much taller lift. either way, yes, you can remove it without any problems and if want to correct things, you might want to get an adjustable track bar to do it instead.
